The Taiga Property is located within the La Grande Archean Volcano Sedimentary belt, which represents a favorable geological environment for gold and base metal mineralization. The Taiga Property is immediately west and adjacent to Virginia Mines Inc.’s Lac Corvet/Island Lake gold property, located on the same La Grande Archean Volcano Sedimentary belt. Virginia Mines Inc.’s Poste Lemoyne project is located 50 kilometers to the west of the Taiga Gold Copper Property.

Localization reference:
The occurrence is located between the Sakami and Meechishgosheesh rivers. The mentioned coordinates refer to the position of the mineralized outcrop.

Geology:
The mineralization is found in quartz-feldspar layer located near biotite gneisses.

Host Rocks:
It appears to be uranium-bearing quartzite.

Ore Genesis:
The uranium-thorium association allows us to attribute this mineralization to a magmatic origin. Hydrothermal solutions would have migrated into porous levels through certain tectonic conduits (joints, fissures).

Mineralization:
The mineralization is disseminated and consists of a uranium- bearing mineral and thorianite.

Historical sampling:
Grab samples #586F : 0.055% U3O8 (467 ppm U) and 0.011% ThO2 (96.8 ppm Th); #586H : 0.008% U3O8 (68 ppm U) and 0.002% ThO2 (17.6 ppm Th).

Localization reference: The occurrence is generated by Sample 6CJ-218 (GM 32768) taken from the aero-radiometric anomaly 157-1, located on the flight line 157 (GM 57674), along the Tichegami River.

Geology: The mineralization is disseminated in pegmatite sills cross-cutting a metasedimentary schist. The main constituents of the pegmatite are biotite, quartz and albite, along with chlorite, apatite and zircon.

Host Rocks: Granitic Pegmatites

Ore Genesis: This mineralization seems to be a primary uraniferous mineralization associated with granitic pegmatites.

Mineralization: The mineralization consists of disseminations of small pitchblende clusters associated with biotite crystals.

Historical sampling: Grab samples returned the following grades: 4BS-015 (GM 57674): 0.39% U 6CJ-218 (GM 32768): 1.31% U
